Internap Powers Live Flash Streaming for Interactive, Global Music Community Online

Flash Live streaming technology and content delivery network enables Synchronicity Live to provide Web-based platform for experiencing the latest music and concerts

ATLANTA, GA – (September 25, 2007) – Internap Network Services Corporation (NASDAQ: INAP), a global provider of end-to-end Internet business solutions, today announced it is providing its expertise in Flash Live streaming technology and its content delivery network (CDN) to power Synchronicity Live, a free, interactive, global music community. Internap’s rich media streaming solutions allow musicians on Synchronicity Live to broadcast live concerts worldwide as well as archive performances for on-demand viewing by fans online.

The integration of Internap’s technology into the Synchronicity Live site has helped the company provide musicians and fans alike with a real-time method of experiencing their favorite concerts as well as new artists. The combination of Flash Live streaming and the CDN ensures superior viewing and listening for visitors while supporting the streaming of multiple, live, global events simultaneously. For example, Internap enabled Synchronicity Live to stream several different concerts concurrently from the Atlantis Music Conference & Festival in Atlanta.

“Through Internap’s reliable technology and breadth of expertise, we can confidently provide musicians and their fans with the best interactive online venue available,” said Aric Berquist, founder of Synchronicity Live. “From archived, on-demand concerts to multiple live events, Internap helps us take our site to the next level and continue to grow to service our expanding audience.”

Synchronicity Live is also utilizing Internap’s technology to provide a level of interactivity on the site. Musicians are able to dynamically publish their music on Synchronicity Live from anywhere at any time at no cost. In addition, musicians can track the number of fans who view their live and on-demand concerts while monitoring feedback for their performances.

“The ubiquity of Flash in combination with our CDN services empower Web-based media customers like Synchronicity Live to deliver a superior entertainment experience,” said Tim Sullivan, chief technology officer for Internap. “Our mission is to enable our customers to succeed in their core business and we are pleased to help Synchronicity Live do just that.”
